Excellent European breakfast and value for money evening meals. Helpful staff and clean rooms. Located in the center of famous Ruhr dams. Convenient parking and quiet location. Great value for money. Cozy and quiet place with a friendly host. The breakfast was great and served in a bird-watching setting. Bus/train vouchers offered.
Restaurant was closed. Furnishings were plain.

The Xmas activities were good fun and added to the festive experience. the scenery around the hotel was picturesque and perfect for a snowy setting. the staff was friendly and welcoming, making us feel at home. We also appreciated the complimentary drinks they offered.
The room was uncomfortably small and lacked basic amenities. the heating system was inadequate, leading to a freezing night.

We had a fantastic stay at this hotel. The staff were helpful and the rooms werenice and neat. The hotel facilities were great, including convenient frontage parking. The location was perfect for exploring the famous Ruhr Dams, as it was geographically centered around them. The breakfast was excellent, with a wholesome European spread that was nicely presented. We even received bus/train vouchers, although we didn't need them as we had a car. this hotel provided great value for money.
Everything was spot on.
